      Netflix has released a trailer and images for The Waterfront, an upcoming drama series from showrunner Kevin Williamson (Dawson’s Creek).

      Based on true events, the series follows the Buckley family as they turn to increasingly perilous methods to sustain their fishing business in North Carolina.

      The cast features Holt McCallany, Maria Bello, Jake Weary, Melissa Benoist, Rafael L. Silva, Humberly González, Danielle Campbell, and Brady Hepner. Check out the trailer and images here...

      For years, the Buckley family has dominated Havenport, North Carolina, controlling everything from the local fishing industry to the town's dining scene. However, their fishing empire begins to falter as patriarch Harlan Buckley (Holt McCallany) recovers from two heart attacks, while his wife Belle (Maria Bello) and son Cane (Jake Weary) dive into risky ventures to keep the family business alive.

      As their efforts spiral out of control and into dangerous territory, Harlan reasserts his authority. Meanwhile, Buckley daughter Bree (Melissa Benoist), who is in recovery from addiction and has lost custody of her son Diller (Brady Hepner), becomes involved in a complicated relationship that could jeopardize the family's future.

      The Waterfront premieres on Netflix on June 19th.
