Alien: A new trailer has been released ahead of its premiere in August.
This year, the Alien franchise is exploring new ground as Noah Hawley, the creator of Fargo, adapts the legendary sci-fi horror series for television. With the premiere just weeks away, a new trailer for the eagerly awaited Alien: Earth has been released, which you can view below.
Set in the year 2120, Earth is dominated by five corporations: Prodigy, Weyland-Yutani, Lynch, Dynamic, and Threshold. During this Corporate Era, cyborgs (humans with both biological and mechanical elements) and synthetics (humanoid robots with artificial intelligence) coexist with humans. The landscape shifts when the young Founder and CEO of Prodigy Corporation unveils a groundbreaking technological innovation: hybrids (humanoid robots merged with human consciousness). The introduction of the first hybrid prototype, known as “Wendy,” signifies a significant advance in the pursuit of immortality. Following a collision between a Weyland-Yutani spacecraft and Prodigy City, “Wendy” and the other hybrids face enigmatic life forms that are more horrifying than anyone could have anticipated.
The cast of Alien: Earth features Sydney Chandler (Wendy), Timothy Olyphant (Kirsh), Alex Lawther (Hermit), Samuel Blenkin (Boy Kavalier), Babou Ceesay (Morrow), Adrian Edmondson (Atom Eins), David Rysdahl (Arthur Sylvia), Essie Davis (Dame Sylvia), Lily Newmark (Nibs), Erana James (Curly), Adarsh Gourav (Slightly), Jonathan Ajayi (Smee), Kit Young (Tootles), Diêm Camille (Siberian), Moe Bar-El (Rashidi), and Sandra Yi Sencindiver (Yutani).
The first two episodes of Alien: Earth will debut on FX in the U.S. on August 12, and they will be available on Disney+ beginning August 13, 2025, with new episodes released weekly thereafter.
