Teaser for the religious cult horror-thriller The Observance
A trailer has been released online for The Observance, an independent horror-thriller directed by Robert Hollocks (Applewood).
The film centers on a woman who, after waking from a five-year coma, learns that her husband and daughter are trapped in a merciless religious cult named The Observance. The cast includes Kate Dailey, Alec James, and Ted Raimi; you can watch the trailer below, along with a poster and a collection of promotional images.
The Observance tells the tale of a woman who, following a tragic car accident, awakens from a five-year coma to find her life drastically changed. An enigmatic, Svengali-like religious figure has taken control of her home, and her husband and daughter are entirely under his influence. However, it’s not just her family – the whole town is affected by this harmful cult. Determined to uncover the truth, she underestimates the lengths to which the cult will go to safeguard its secrets.
The Observance is set to be released soon.
