In a battle to determine the world's fate, the ancient and interdependent gods, The Light and The Dark, transport Maggie Sutherland, a young British clerk from 2025, into the untamed lands of Hyboria. Upon arrival, she finds herself transformed into the legendary Hyrkanian warrior, Red Sonja. Thrust into a world filled with deities and beasts, Maggie must swiftly learn to navigate not only the treacherous environment but also the ever-present dangers posed by both allies and adversaries as she seeks a way back home.
The esteemed comics writer CHRISTOPHER PRIEST (Vampirella, Black Panther, Conan) collaborates with artist ALESSANDRO MIRACOLO to completely redefine the scarlet-haired warrior in Sonja Reborn – a compelling retelling of her heroic journey that explores the realities a single woman must face to endure in a savage world of magic and barbarism.
