IFC Films has unveiled a trailer for The Plague, an upcoming thriller directed and written by Charlie Polinger. The film follows a socially anxious 12-year-old who becomes the focus of a harsh tradition at a water polo camp, leading to psychological distress as the boundaries between the game and reality start to dissolve, uncovering something ominous.

Set at an all-boys water polo camp, a socially anxious twelve-year-old is drawn into a harsh custom aimed at an outcast labeled with an illness known as “The Plague.” However, as the distinction between the game and reality fades, he begins to worry that the prank might be hiding something genuine.
