Apple TV unveils the first trailer for its For All Mankind spinoff, Star City.
Apple TV has released the inaugural trailer for Star City, the forthcoming prequel spinoff of the popular alternate history sci-fi series For All Mankind.
The series dives behind the Iron Curtain, depicting how the Soviets surpassed the US to become the first country to land a man on the moon, while exploring the lives of cosmonauts, engineers, and intelligence officers involved in the Soviet space program.
The cast features Rhys Ifans (House of the Dragon), Anna Maxwell Martin (Motherland), Agnes O’Casey (Black Doves), Alice Englert (Bad Behaviour), Solly McLeod (House of the Dragon), Adam Nagaitis (Chernobyl), Ruby Ashbourne Serkis (I, Jack Wright), Josef Davies (Andor), and Priya Kansara (Bridgerton).
A striking new installment inspired by the acclaimed space-race drama, "For All Mankind," “Star City” is an intense paranoid thriller that revisits a pivotal point in the alternate history of the space race — the moment the Soviet Union first sent a man to the moon. This time, it reveals the narrative from behind the Iron Curtain, highlighting the experiences of cosmonauts, engineers, and intelligence agents within the Soviet space initiative, as well as the dangers they faced to advance humanity.
