Marvel's VisionQuest set to debut in October.
After several years in development, Marvel Studios' series VisionQuest is set to debut this fall, concluding the trilogy that started with WandaVision and continued with Agatha All Along. VisionQuest will follow the newly revived, albeit altered version of Vision after he escaped S.W.O.R.D.'s control upon achieving sentience. The series is expected to show Vision as he endeavors to restore his memory and humanity. Paul Bettany will return to reprise his role as Vision in this upcoming series, which is being produced by showrunner Terry Matalas.
The show will premiere on October 14th, just weeks before Marvel’s next major event, Avengers: Doomsday. It remains uncertain whether Bettany will reunite with his fellow Avengers co-stars for the film, which will help conclude Marvel’s Multiverse Saga.
Joining Bettany is Todd Stashwick as Paladin, a morally ambiguous mercenary anti-hero who acts as an assassin focused on Vision’s technology. Faran Tahir is returning to his role as Raza, the leader of the Ten Rings who unknowingly set Tony Stark on the path to becoming Iron Man. James Spader will reprise his role as the villainous Ultron, and Ruaridh Mollica will portray Vision and Wanda’s son, Tommy.
Also appearing in VisionQuest are Emily Hampshire (Schitt’s Creek), Orla Brady (Freud’s Last Session), Henry Lewis, Jonathan Sayer, James D’Arcy (Agent Carter), Lauren Morais (Mudtown), Diane Morgan (Cunk on Earth), Mary McDonnell (Battlestar Galactica), and Cristian Lavin.
