The cast for the Delphi spin-off series of Rocky and Creed has been announced.
The Rocky and Creed franchises are set to grow with the new TV series, Delphi, which has announced its cast for the upcoming spin-off on Prime Video, produced by Michael B. Jordan's Outlier Society.
Delphi revolves around the Delphi Gym, the primary training facility for Adonis Creed in the Creed films, managed by Little Duke Evers, son of Apollo Creed's trainer Tony 'Duke' Evers. The story follows a group of talented young boxers at an elite academy striving to fulfill their ambitions and reach the heights of the sport.
Benji Santiago, making his TV debut, leads the cast alongside Juan Castano (Rob Peace), Demián Bichir (The Hateful Eight), André Holland (The Actor), Andre Royo (The Punisher: One Last Kill), Sofia Black-D’Elia (Remarkably Bright Creatures), and Victoria Vourkoutiotis (Elsbeth). Wood Harris will return to his role as Little Duke in a recurring capacity.
Santiago will portray Santi Torres, a gifted young boxer from East LA who has always felt overshadowed by his older brother. Castano will play Nico Torres, Santi's older sibling and a naturally talented boxer who faces personal struggles that compel him to confront his deepest fears.
Bichir will take on the role of Hector Torres, the patriarch of the Torres family, originally from Mexico and now residing in Los Angeles, where he owns a boxing gym in East LA. With a tough-love parenting style, he demands excellence from his sons while fiercely supporting them.
Holland will portray Teddy 'T-Bone' Parker, a boxing strategist and lead instructor at Delphi Academy, who views boxing as a strategic game that requires intellectual planning and a nuanced understanding of the sport.
Royo will play Elmer Tatum, an eccentric boxing expert from the Bronx who has an uncanny ability to predict fight outcomes based on seemingly trivial details.
Black-D’Elia will take on the role of Bobbi Weiss, an accountant aspiring to fulfill her dream of becoming a trainer at a prestigious boxing academy. Although she hasn't fought herself, her deep knowledge of the sport and talent identification skills are inherent.
Vourkoutiotis will play Kai Katsaros, a reserved young boxer blessed with remarkable talent who struggles with self-doubt, anxiety, and stage fright as she seeks to realize her potential.
Harris returns as Little Duke, the son of Tony “Duke” Evers, who continues the legacy of training rising talent at the Delphi Academy.
Additional cast members include Niles Fitch (Forever) as Dante, Dasan Frazier (A Different World) as Remy, Graham Patrick Martin (Catch 22) as Jackson, Brittany Adebumola (M.I.A.) as Mina, b (You) as Didi, Rene Moran (Cross) as Iggy, Okieriete Onaodowan (Hamilton) as Freddie, and Breanna Yde (School of Rock) as Ana.
Marco Ramirez will serve as the showrunner for Delphi and will executive produce alongside Jordan and Elizabeth Raposo for Outlier. José Padilha (RoboCop) is directing the pilot, which is currently shooting in Los Angeles.
