Doctor Victor Von Doom is an exceptional scientist, an unmatched sorcerer, and the leader of his own nation. By any standard, he is a remarkable individual. Nonetheless, Doom craves more. When Reed Richards — Mister Fantastic, his greatest adversary and lifelong rival — is highlighted at an esteemed international event that Doom was not invited to, he is infuriated.
Reed reveals his plans for his future retirement project: the complete optimization of history. He aims to travel back in time to rectify all the periods humanity squandered through war and conflict, saving countless lives and allowing humanity to reach its ultimate glory. The notion of Reed reshaping history to fit his vision is fundamentally opposed to Doom, prompting him to act before Reed can. However, when the Fantastic Four step in, Doom finds himself embroiled in a conflict he never anticipated — spanning all of time and space!
