Colin Baker's Sixth Doctor encounters a Reunion in the upcoming Doctor Who adventure this August.
Today marks Colin Baker’s 83rd birthday, and Big Finish Productions is commemorating the occasion with the announcement of *The Sixth Doctor Adventures: Reunion*, an exciting new audio drama box set scheduled for release in August. The Doctor continues his adventures alongside companion Peri (Nicola Bryant) and Vislor Turlough (Mark Strickson), a devious companion from his previous incarnation, though their journey might be nearing its conclusion.
*The Sixth Doctor Adventures: Reunion* features three new stories for listeners to enjoy:
- **‘Save the Date’ by Matthew Sweet** – As the swinging sixties come to a close in London, Perpugilliam Brown becomes the new secretary of the Eternal Joy dating agency. While this might seem an unusual choice for Peri, she is actually undercover, working to uncover the cause of a recent sonic boom in the city, with the clues appearing to be contained within the agency’s large pink computer. This position also provides a perfect opportunity to set the Doctor and Turlough up on a double date.
- **‘Poison’s Reach’ by Paul Sutton** – The inhabitants of Freefall believe their civilization thrives on a natural radiation stream originating from its moon. However, engineer Sandra Silva knows the truth and is intent on exposing the Stelta Corporation's criminal activities, and fortunately, she has the aid of three time travelers to assist her. Turlough learns an important lesson about sacrifice throughout this adventure.
- **‘Broken Home’ by AK Benedict & Guy Adams** – Upon the TARDIS's arrival on Trion, Turlough quickly betrays the Doctor and Peri to the occupying forces. Is he still a traitor to the Doctor? Has he gained any insights from his adventures with the Time Lord, and how far is he willing to go in order to free his planet?
