Comic Book Sneak Peek – Altered States: Warlords #1

Dynamite Entertainment launches its Elseworlds-style series, Altered States, this week with the release of Altered States: Warlords #1, which features characters such as Red Sonja, Vampirella, Dejah Thoris, John Carter, and Tarzan, Lord of the Jungle. Take a look at the official preview of the first issue below…

Welcome to Altered States… Dynamite Entertainment’s take on a parallel universe reminiscent of DC’s Elseworlds and Marvel’s What If! Our inaugural Altered States title begins with Red Sonja, the She-Devil of Hyrkania, who finds herself transported to Barsoom – widely recognized on Earth as Mars – in the ancient past of the enigmatic red planet! The events that unfold will have significant consequences across the planet, bringing in legendary heroes such as Vampirella, John Carter, Dejah Thoris, and the Lord of the Jungle himself, straight from Earth! Writer David Avallone (known for Elvira, Savage Tales) collaborates with rising talent Mariano Benitez-Chapo (Vampirella, Elvira, Savage Tales), while cover artists include Joseph Michael Linsner, Mike Rooth, and Chapo, alongside a remarkable cosplay image by Jackie Goehner! Additionally, Mike Rooth and Chapo have designed an impressive series of connecting covers for this series! It all kicks off in June! Don’t miss out!

Altered States: Warlords #1 is set to be released on June 10th, priced at $4.99.
