The English voice cast sees new additions with Matt Mercer voicing Vincent and Travis Willingham taking over the role of Sephiroth after Tyler Hoechlin, who voiced the antagonist in Remake and Rebirth, was unavailable due to scheduling issues.
Final Fantasy VII is frequently regarded as the pinnacle of the Final Fantasy series. Released in 1997, it achieved immense popularity and is one of the few entries to inspire multiple spin-off games elaborating on character backstories, along with the animated sequel Final Fantasy VII: Advent Children. The upcoming game’s release in Spring 2027 coincides perfectly with the franchise’s 30th anniversary and is framed as the final chapter in all Final Fantasy VII narratives.
As the world faces potential destruction, the ultimate confrontation with Sephiroth commences. A meteor clouds the sky, monstrous guardians rampage across the planet, and the fires of conflict blaze. Cloud and his friends must confront this turmoil to determine the fate of the world and conclude an epic struggle. In this last segment of the FINAL FANTASY VII remake project, the scale is unprecedented and the stakes are at their peak. Soar through the skies and navigate a limitless world, battle alongside a fully assembled team, hone your skills in strategic and dynamic combat, and brace yourself for the epic conclusion. A vast planet awaits, and everything leads to this moment.
Final Fantasy VII: Revelation will launch in Spring 2027 for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X/S, Nintendo Switch 2, and PC.
