ARVORE and Sony Pictures Entertainment have launched The Boys: Trigger Warning for PlayStation VR2. This allows a new audience to experience the dark humor, chaotic violence, and unique voice acting from cast members in a stealth action-adventure set in a world of corrupt superheroes. Created in collaboration with the show's makers, The Boys: Trigger Warning immerses players in the gritty universe of The Boys, featuring intense violence, blood, gore, and strong language familiar to fans.
The story follows Lucas Costa, whose family trip to Voughtland ends tragically due to the Armstrongs, a disgraced yet dangerous family of Vought Superheroes. Soon, Butcher and Mother's Milk entice Lucas into battling against Vought and its Supes by giving him Compound V and helping him seek revenge on those who ruined his life.
The Boys: Trigger Warning includes performances from beloved characters such as Laz Alonso (Mother’s Milk), Colby Minifie (Ashley Barrett), P.J. Byrne (Adam Bourke), and Jensen Ackles (Soldier Boy).
PS VR2 players can utilize their Laser Eyes Power with eye tracking support, enhancing gameplay input and optimizing performance, rendering, and visual clarity based on where players look. Gamers will appreciate sharper visuals, better environmental details, dynamic shadows, and advanced lighting. Additionally, PS5 Pro users can take advantage of improved performance, smoother gameplay, and refresh rates up to 120Hz.
