Biollante is now part of Hiya Toys' Godzilla Exquisite Basic Series action figure lineup.

      Hiya Toys has announced the latest addition to its Godzilla Exquisite Basic Series, featuring the Biollante figure. This figure is inspired by its look in the 17th film of Toho's renowned franchise, 1989's Godzilla vs. Biollante.       This marks the 17th installment in the Godzilla franchise and is the first directed by Kazuki Omori. Five years following the devastating destruction of the Shinjuku subcenter, a fierce battle ensues over Godzilla's cells (G-cells)—cells that can generate an anti-nuclear bacteria capable of neutralizing nuclear weapons and potentially altering the global military balance. Dr. Shiragami, a leading expert in genetic engineering, had secretly merged his deceased daughter’s cells with a rose; in a bid to preserve her cells, he integrated G-cells into the rose's seed—only for it to transform into a colossal creature, birthing Biollante. Thus begins the conflict with Godzilla, who has recently resurfaced at Mt. Mihara.

      The new EXQUISITE BASIC Series Biollante action figure accurately captures its iconic look from Godzilla vs. Biollante (1989). It stands approximately 20CM tall (from bottom to head) and 40CM wide (when the vines are spread out as depicted). The figure includes Biollante's distinctive central maw filled with sharp teeth, surrounded by intertwining vines and bark-like skin intricately sculpted across the body. At the center of the torso, the core is represented by a translucent orange-red piece adorned with silver inner paint applications, enhancing the depth and contrast of this unique feature.

      Multiple root vines extend from the body, some of which end in fanged mouths that authentically reflect Biollante's original design from the film. The vines have an internal wire frame encased in soft PVC material, allowing for adaptable posing and display from various angles.
