Saoirse Ronan takes on a troubled youth in the trailer for Bad Apples.

      Paramount Pictures has unveiled the trailer for Bad Apples, featuring four-time Academy Award nominee Saoirse Ronan as a primary school teacher who decides to take control in response to a disruptive student.

      Directed by Jonatan Etzler (One More Time) and written by Jess O’Kane (The Devil’s Harmony), the film also includes performances by Eddie Waller, Nia Brown, Jacob Anderson, Rakie Ayola, Robert Emms, and Sean Gilder. Check out the trailer below…

      Maria, a primary school teacher striving to motivate her class of 10-year-olds, is hampered by one chaotic student. As her career comes under scrutiny and the child's behavior deteriorates, she makes a series of poor choices, ultimately leading her to accidentally take the troublesome student to her home and lock them in. Maria desperately attempts to reverse her actions, but as the class begins to thrive and both staff and parents are pleased with the progress, she finds herself trapped in a complex situation.
