With its theatrical debut just over three weeks away, Paramount Pictures has released the final trailer for director Elegance Bratton’s upcoming crime thriller, By Any Means.
Based on true events, the film features Yahya Abdul-Mateen II as a young FBI agent who must partner with a notorious mafia hitman-turned-FBI informant (Mark Wahlberg) to probe a series of savage murders aimed at civil rights activists in 1960s Mississippi.
Alongside Abdul-Mateen and Wahlberg, the cast includes Nicole Beharie, Josh Lucas, LisaGay Hamilton, LaChanze, Ethan Embry, David Strathairn, and Giancarlo Esposito. Take a look at the trailer below...
A young Black FBI agent (Yahya Abdul-Mateen II) is dispatched to 1960s Mississippi to investigate a surge of violent killings targeting civil rights leaders. Compelled to collaborate with infamous mafia hitman Greg Scarpa (Mark Wahlberg), he becomes embroiled in a lethal pursuit where the lines between justice and revenge start to blur. When the system fails, two men, separated by everything else, find common ground in their belief: the law has boundaries, but they do not.
