MoMI svela il primo sguardo alla lineup del 2026

      Il Museo dell'Immagine in Movimento ha svelato il suo programma per la 15ª edizione di First Look, il festival del museo dedicato al nuovo e innovativo cinema internazionale, che si svolgerà dal 23 aprile al 3 maggio 2026. Aprendo con The Misconceived di James N. Kienitz Wilkins e chiudendo con Moonglow di Isabel Sandoval, il festival include anche Carousel di Rachel Lambert, con Chris Pine e Jenny Slate; Silent Friend di Ildikó Enyedi, con Tony Leung Chiu-wai; e Hot Water di Ramzi Bashour.

      “In questa quindicesima edizione di First Look, siamo entusiasti di portare nuove prospettive e idee al festival, e gli artisti eccentrici e completamente indipendenti dietro i nostri film di apertura e chiusura, James N. Kienitz Wilkins e Isabel Sandoval, sono le rappresentazioni perfette dell'etica avventurosa di First Look,” ha dichiarato Michael Koresky, curatore senior di film del MoMI e programmatore principale di First Look. “È stato anche un grande piacere lavorare con un numero ampliato di programmatori, le cui prospettive e voci brillano attraverso questi film e hanno creato un meraviglioso processo di selezione democratica. Quest'anno, siamo lieti di offrire titoli provenienti da una varietà di generi, dall'horror al documentario, dalla commedia romantica a film di una nuova generazione di cineasti ‘cult’.”
