In anticipation of its digital debut this upcoming Tuesday, a poster and trailer for director Glenn Ciano’s thriller, A Deadly Ride, have been released online. Jamie Bernadette (I Spit on Your Grave: Deja Vu) stars as Kailey, a young woman thrust into a harrowing battle for her life after her ride-share driver (B.J. Britt) accidentally strikes a jogger and, in a panic, attempts to silence her to conceal the incident. Watch the trailer below…
In this grisly narrative of survival where the motto is kill or be killed, Cary (B.J. Britt), a ride-share driver overwhelmed by debt and breaking into his clients' empty homes, alters his destiny when he picks up Kailey (Jamie Bernadette), who is devastated after uncovering her boyfriend’s betrayal. Their journey takes a dark turn when Cary unintentionally hits Adrian (Chris Whitcomb), a jogger. Overcome with panic, Cary decides to harm Kailey as well, hoping to eliminate any witnesses and safeguard his secret. Although both Kailey and Adrian survive, they are injured and must escape for their lives during a terrifying snowstorm. As Cary pursues them, Kailey and Adrian unite, striving to survive against their relentless hunter. The risks are immense, and moral lines begin to blur as the quest for justice unfolds in the freezing cold.
A Deadly Ride is scheduled for release on February 4th on Amazon and Fandango, with additional streaming platforms set to follow in March.
