MACROSS -Shooting Insight- is now available on PlayStation 4/5 and Nintendo Switch.

      Red Art Games has launched the western version of MACROSS -Shooting Insight- digitally on PlayStation 5, PS4, and Nintendo Switch. This new installment in the beloved anime franchise is the first MACROSS title to be officially released in the west. For those who prefer physical copies (like myself), there will be a physical edition coming later this year.

      MACROSS -Shooting Insight- is a multi-dimensional shooter that brings together pilots, songstresses, and characters from five different MACROSS series (MACROSS Plus, MACROSS Zero, MACROSS 7, MACROSS Frontier, and MACROSS Delta) into Battle 7, along with an entirely original storyline. Players will have the opportunity to select various pilots from different eras and navigate through stages composed of multiple scenes, each offering unique gameplay types, including horizontally scrolling shooting, vertically scrolling shooting, and 360-degree scrolling shooting.

      Players can harness the power of songs to gain advantages in battle by synchronizing with songstresses to activate various buffs and debuffs, such as enhanced firepower or diminished enemy fire spread.

      MACROSS -Shooting Insight- includes:
