Only a few realize this time of quiet for what it truly is… the calm before the storm, which has now arrived. The world has awakened to a new reality: Doctor Doom, Earth’s Sorcerer Supreme, has taken control of every broadcast medium globally and has proclaimed himself Emperor of the World — the leader of a new United Latveria! Astonishingly, all of Earth’s leaders appear to be compliant with this declaration. Fortunately, whether it’s due to mind control or Doombots, whatever is influencing them has not affected Earth’s heroes — who swiftly organize a strike team to thwart Doom’s plans.
