In anticipation of its release later this month, a poster and trailer have been unveiled for the newest horror film inspired by Steamboat Willie, titled I Heart Willie. Directed by Alejandro G. Alegre, the movie follows an obsessive fan who inadvertently guides her friends into a lethal trap while delving into the Steamboat Willie legend, where a deranged killer aims to skin them.
The cast includes Maya Luna, Micho Camacho, Sergio Rogalto, Daniela Porras, and David Vaughn. You can watch the trailer below…
This chilling origin story features an obsessed psychopath who unknowingly entraps her friends in a deadly scenario where pure evil seeks to harvest their skin, all centered around the most cherished cartoon character of the modern era.
I Heart Willie is scheduled for release on February 26th.
