Kryva Hora demo set to deliver terror at the Steam Next Fest.
WOMBEX Games and GacrivaStudio have revealed that a new demo for Kryva Hora, their survival horror game presented in a found-footage style, will be available on Steam during the Steam Next Fest on February 25th. This demo will allow players to either confront or evade the horrors of Chornobyl while striving to survive long enough to accomplish a classified mission.
In Kryva Hora, players must endure the dangerous, irradiated landscape of Chornobyl, inspired by found footage from a 1987 tape. After being assigned a covert mission to shut down an alien portal and avert an extraterrestrial invasion, players journey to the Kryva Hora fields, where they must fend off deadly mutant creatures.
To complete their mission, players must investigate the surrounding area and search for clues to unlock puzzles that provide access to additional locations.
Players will have the choice to activate their microphone for added gameplay features; sounds made through the mic can influence the game world, such as drawing the attention of enemies.
Key features include:
- Found footage gameplay presented in a 4:3 aspect ratio.
- Points of interest, loot locations, and alien spawn points are procedurally generated.
- Numerous hours of varied gameplay available, even after finishing the game.
- Twitch integration allows viewers to vote on the next type of event during the streamer’s gameplay.
- Mechanics for optional open mic gameplay.
- An intensely frightening atmosphere.
The demo for Kryva Hora will be available during the Steam Next Fest.
