Leighton Meester and Miles Fowler are set to appear in season 2 of Nobody Wants This.

      The second season of Netflix's popular romantic comedy series *Nobody Wants This* has welcomed two new cast members, with Variety reporting that Leighton Meester (How I Met Your Father) and Miles Fowler (A Man on the Inside) will join Kristen Bell and Adam Brody.

      *Nobody Wants This* debuted on Netflix last September and quickly became a major success for the platform, receiving a renewal for a second season just weeks after its launch. The show centers on Bell and Brody's characters, Joanne and Noah, who embark on an unexpected romance despite their contrasting views on life, religion, and the interference of family members who try to drive them apart.

      Meester, who is married to Brody, will portray Abby, “Joanne’s (Bell) middle school adversary who is now an Instagram mommy influencer.” Fowler will appear as Lenny, “Noah’s (Brody) Matzah Ballers teammate who is paired with Morgan (Justine Lupe).”

      This casting news follows Brody's recent Best Actor award for his role as Noah at the Critics Choice Awards, where he expressed gratitude to Meester for her support during the show.

      *Nobody Wants This* was created by Erin Foster, who was also the showrunner for the first season but will take a step back for the second season while remaining an executive producer. Jenni Konner and Bruce Eric Kaplan will take over as showrunners for the upcoming season, and both will also serve as executive producers.

      Will they? Won’t they? Should they? An agnostic podcast host and an unconventional rabbi on the rebound enter a party. When they leave — together — the unlikely duo, Joanne (Kristen Bell) and Noah (Adam Brody), can sense a connection between them. Yet, they also face challenges due to their differing perspectives on life, the modern obstacles to love, and their sometimes helpful, sometimes hindering families, including her sister Morgan (Justine Lupe) and his brother Sasha (Timothy Simons).
