Sacramento Trailer: Michael Cera, Michael Angarano, and Kristen Stewart Star in Road Trip Drama
Debuting last year at the Tribeca Festival, shortly before appearing in Kevin Costner’s Horizon: An American Saga – Chapter 1, Michael Angarano’s second film as a director, Sacramento, features a notable cast including Michael Cera, Kristen Stewart, and Maya Erskine, alongside Angarano himself. The film has been acquired by Vertical, who plans to release this drama in theaters on April 11, and they have now unveiled the first trailer.
Here’s the synopsis: “After the passing of his father, spirited and carefree Rickey (Michael Angarano) persuades his long-time friend Glenn (Michael Cera) to embark on an unplanned road trip from Los Angeles to Sacramento. Annoyed by Rickey’s Peter Pan attitude, Glenn is pushed by his pregnant wife Rosie (Kristen Stewart) to take this journey to reconnect. In the worn yellow seats of Glenn’s old college convertible, the two friends face their anxiety-filled lives, reflecting on past mistakes and contemplating their future paths.”
