Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba Infinity Castle announces release date along with a new trailer.
Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba Infinity Castle is heading to the United States, and the popular anime is gearing up for an epic final showdown.
Today, Crunchyroll, the leading global hub for anime, announced the North American and international theatrical release dates for the eagerly awaited Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba Infinity Castle. The first film in this iconic trilogy from renowned animation studio ufotable will premiere exclusively in theaters on September 12, 2025, in the United States, Canada, and the UK, available in IMAX and other premium large formats. The movie will be offered in both Japanese with English subtitles and dubbed in English.
This three-part cinematic feature marks the concluding arc and finale of the immensely popular award-winning shonen anime series. The film will be distributed worldwide by Crunchyroll and Sony Pictures Entertainment, excluding Japan and select Asian regions.
The story follows Tanjiro Kamado, a boy who joins the Demon Slayer Corps, an organization focused on hunting demons, after his younger sister Nezuko becomes a demon. As he grows stronger and develops close bonds with fellow corps members, Tanjiro has fought alongside his comrades – Zenitsu Agatsuma and Inosuke Hashibira – against various demons. His journey has led him to collaborate with the top-ranked swordsmen of the Demon Slayer Corps, known as the Hashira, including Flame Hashira Kyojuro Rengoku on the Mugen Train, Sound Hashira Tengen Uzui in the Entertainment District, and Mist Hashira Muichiro Tokito and Love Hashira Mitsuri Kanroji in the Swordsmith Village.
As the members of the Demon Slayer Corps and the Hashira engage in a group training regimen known as the Hashira Training, preparing for an impending confrontation with the demons, Muzan Kibutsuji appears at the Ubuyashiki Mansion. With the leader of the Demon Corps in peril, Tanjiro and the Hashira rush to the headquarters, only to be thrust into a deep descent into a mysterious realm orchestrated by Muzan Kibutsuji.
They find themselves in the demons' fortress – the Infinity Castle. Thus, the stage is set for the climactic battle between the Demon Slayer Corps and the demons.
Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba Infinity Castle is scheduled for release on September 12, 2025.
