Apple Original Films and Warner Bros. have released the latest trailer for Joseph Kosinski’s thrilling, action-filled F1.

The film features Academy Award winner Brad Pitt (Once Upon a Time in Hollywood…) portraying a once-promising driver whose career never took off, given one final opportunity to make a mark as he mentors an emerging young star.

Produced by Jerry Bruckheimer, Kosinski, Lewis Hamilton, Pitt, Dede Gardner, Jeremy Kleiner, and Chad Oman, F1 boasts an impressive lineup alongside Pitt, which includes Damson Idris, Kerry Condon, Tobias Menzies, Kim Bodnia, and Javier Bardem. Take a look at the trailer and the new poster below…

Referred to as “the greatest that never was,” Sonny Hayes (Brad Pitt) was the most promising talent in FORMULA 1 during the 1990s until a track accident nearly ended his career. Fast forward thirty years, and he’s a freelance racer when he’s approached by his former teammate Ruben Cervantes (Javier Bardem), who owns a struggling FORMULA 1 team on the brink of failure. Ruben persuades Sonny to return to FORMULA 1 for one last chance to save the team and reclaim his status as the best in the world. He will race alongside Joshua Pearce (Damson Idris), the team’s ambitious rookie eager to make his mark. However, as the engines roar to life, Sonny’s past resurfaces, revealing that in FORMULA 1, your teammate can also be your biggest rival—and the path to redemption is one that cannot be faced alone.

F1 hits theaters worldwide this summer.
