Marvel unveils the first glimpse of Predator vs. Spider-Man #1.

      Marvel Comics is preparing to debut its new 20th Century Studios crossover series next month, featuring Peter Parker as he becomes the target of one of the galaxy's most formidable hunters in "Predator vs. Spider-Man," written by Benjamin Percy and illustrated by Marcelo Ferreira.

      “Spider-Man is a character every writer dreams of working with,” said writer Benjamin Percy. “I’m excited and thankful for this chance to place this iconic webslinger against the galaxy’s top hunters within the urban landscape of New York. This Yautja — whom we’ve named Skinner — operates without a code or clan. He’s the ultimate terrifying counterpart to the kind-hearted Parker.”

      Amid an intense heat wave triggering a blackout in NYC, Spider-Man takes to the streets as tensions rise throughout the city. However, a lurking danger beneath the dirty sewers and subways presents a challenge unlike anything Peter Parker has encountered before. Enter “Skinner,” a Predator devoid of honor and clan, driven solely by a thirst for blood.
