Hot Toys introduces the sixth scale figure of Galen Erso from Rogue One: A Star Wars Story.

      Hot Toys has announced a Japan exclusive limited edition sixth scale figure of Galen Erso, based on Mads Mikkelsen's likeness from the 2016 film Rogue One: A Star Wars Story. Promotional images can be viewed here.

      Galen Erso, a brilliant scientist, was compelled to utilize kyber crystals to improve energy production—a project that his associate Orson Krennic later weaponized for the construction of the Death Star's superlaser. Seeking refuge with his family on the isolated planet of Lah’mu, Galen was eventually discovered by Krennic, who forced him to continue his work. In his desperation, Galen aims to incorporate a critical weakness into the Death Star to expose it to the Alliance.

      Surprise! Hot Toys is participating in the Star Wars Celebration, commemorating a decade since their last attendance in the United States. This year, they are introducing an exclusive 1/6th scale Galen Erso figure, limited to just 1,500 units and available only in Japan.

      The meticulously crafted figure captures Mads Mikkelsen’s portrayal of Galen Erso from the acclaimed Star Wars film, Rogue One. It features an intricately detailed head sculpt with moving eyeballs that accurately represent the character. Galen’s Imperial officer uniform is expertly designed in green and light blue, complete with a blaster rifle. The accessories include a disk containing the Death Star plans, a storage disk, a miniature hologram of the Death Star, and a uniquely designed figure stand, providing extensive display options.
