The boys contemplate Eddie’s invitation, reluctant to embark on a new campaign without Will and El. While Eddie attempts to motivate Mike, Lucas, and Dustin to join the Hellfire Club in the present day, flashbacks reveal the iconic campaign that initially captivated him with D&D. Eddie and the original Hellfire team welcome a new member to confront a fierce Manticore that almost decimated their party during their first encounter. Throughout both past and present, Eddie demonstrates the value of teamwork.
