New journeys are on the horizon in the teaser trailer for Season 3 of Star Trek: Strange New Worlds.
Paramount has unveiled the teaser trailer for the forthcoming third season of Star Trek: Strange New Worlds, set to debut this summer.
Star Trek: Strange New Worlds serves as a prequel to the original series and tells the story of the USS Enterprise under the command of Captain Christopher Pike. The second season concluded with a suspenseful cliffhanger, as the Enterprise faced a perilous encounter with the Gorn, placing several crew members in jeopardy. The upcoming third season will resume from this battle, taking the crew on a series of new adventures throughout the universe.
The series has already been renewed for a fourth season, which is currently being filmed in Toronto. In the meantime, you can watch the teaser and explore the character posters below.
In Season 3, as we rejoin the crew of the U.S.S. Enterprise, still led by Captain Pike, they will confront the aftermath of Season 2’s intense clash with the Gorn. New life forms and civilizations will be introduced, including an antagonist that will challenge our characters' resilience and determination.
Offering a fresh take on classic Star Trek, Season 3 elevates both new and familiar characters to new heights, embarking on exhilarating journeys filled with themes of faith, duty, romance, comedy, and mystery, showcasing diverse genres not previously seen in any other Star Trek installment.
Star Trek: Strange New Worlds features Anson Mount, Rebecca Romijn, Ethan Peck, Jess Bush, Christina Chong, Celia Rose Gooding, and Melissa Navia, with Babs Olusanmokun appearing, along with guest stars Paul Wesley, Melanie Scrofano, and Carol Kane. Season 3 will also welcome Martin Quinn to the cast as Montgomery Scott, alongside guest stars Rhys Darby, Patton Oswalt, and Cillian O’Sullivan.
The third season of Star Trek: Strange New Worlds is set to premiere this summer.
