New trailer released for Space Adventure Cobra - The Awakening.
Over the years, there have been several games based on Cobra (not the Stallone movie), but the only one I was aware of was the poorly designed Cobra 2 for the Atari ST. Thankfully, those days are long gone, and with the help of Microids, we can anticipate a brand-new video game adaptation of the beloved animated series. Space Adventure Cobra – The Awakening is set to launch on PC and consoles on August 26. You can check out a new trailer showcasing the impressive visuals of the game below.
In Space Adventure Cobra – The Awakening, players will have the opportunity to experience the exciting adventures of Cobra through the first 12 episodes of the series. Stepping into the shoes of the main character, and partnered with the devoted Lady Armaroid, players will engage in platforming action to uncover the mysterious threat looming over the universe.
Armed with the legendary Psychogun, players will journey across various planets to rescue three enigmatic sisters connected to the coveted treasure that the Pirate Guild is after. By utilizing gadgets and weapons, players must defeat foes, navigate obstacles and traps while interacting with vibrant characters, including the Royal Sisters and Cobra's arch-nemesis, the fearsome Crystal Bowie.
Key features include:
- An adventure that follows the initial 12 episodes of the renowned anime series, retaining its humor.
- An epic journey through diverse worlds filled with unique characters.
- Utilize Cobra's extraordinary abilities to overcome enemies and various traps.
- Iconic weapons and gear, such as the Psychogun, the Colt Python 77, his cigar, and grappling hook.
- A story mode with three levels of difficulty.
- A two-player co-op mode.
Be on the lookout for Space Adventure Cobra – The Awakening, which will launch on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series, Nintendo Switch, and PC on August 26.
