Vin Diesel hints that news about Riddick: Furya is "on the way."

It's been some time since we received any updates on the fourth Riddick film, Riddick: Furya, which began filming last summer. However, series star Vin Diesel has hinted that news about the sequel is “incoming.”

Diesel first portrayed Richard B. Riddick in the 2000 sci-fi film Pitch Black, where he played a convict trapped on a barren planet alongside his captors and other civilians, ultimately becoming their only hope for survival due to his lethal abilities. This was followed by two sequels: The Chronicles of Riddick in 2004 and Riddick in 2013.

In a brief Instagram post, Diesel shared a new image from Riddick: Furya, captioned “Incoming… Riddick…”. It remains unclear if this suggests an upcoming trailer, release date, or official casting announcement, but fans can anticipate some forthcoming revelations from Diesel about the film. David Twohy, who has directed previous entries in the series, will also helm this installment from his own script.

Riddick: Furya centers on Riddick as he makes his long-awaited return to his home planet, a place he can barely recall and fears may be in ruins. There, he encounters other Furyans struggling to survive against a new threat, some of whom are more similar to Riddick than he ever expected.
