Netflix has released a trailer for the animated sci-fi romance film Lost in Starlight.

      Netflix has released a poster and trailer for "Lost in Starlight," a Korean animated sci-fi romance directed by Han Ji-won.

      Taking place in the near future in Seoul in 2050, the film follows the story of star-crossed lovers Nan-young and Jay (voiced by Kim Tae-ri and Hong Kyung) as a fateful meeting leads them to fall in love and envision a future together, just as Astronaut Nan-young is presented with the opportunity to travel to Mars.

      In 2050 Seoul, astronaut Nan-young aspires to reach Mars, but she fails the final evaluation to join the fourth Mars Expedition Project. Meanwhile, the musician Jay has set aside his dreams to work in a vintage audio equipment shop.

      Their love blossoms after a serendipitous encounter, as they support one another and dream of a better future. Nan-young is then given another shot at making her dream of going to Mars a reality.

      “Don't forget. Out here in space, there's someone who is always cheering for you.”

      "Lost in Starlight" will be available on Netflix starting May 30th.
