Five special youth have been granted powers by Gaia, the spirit of the Earth, representing the elemental forces of our planet: Earth, Fire, Wind, Water, and Heart. When these five powers unite, they call forth the world’s greatest champion — Captain Planet!
However, before these aspiring eco-warriors can merge their newly acquired abilities to achieve environmental justice, they must learn to trust one another — a challenge made tougher as each member comes from different (and sometimes conflicting) parts of the world.
Sadly, they are running out of time. When Gaia is kidnapped, the inexperienced Planeteers must unite — whether they feel prepared or not — to confront the financially backed forces of Lucian Plunder! Even with the combined powers of Captain Planet, will it be sufficient to counteract the ruthless cleverness of those who exploit the Earth?
Captain Planet #1 will be available for purchase on May 7th, with a price tag of $4.99.
