The free DLC introduces two new characters to Double Dragon Gaiden: Rise of the Dragons.

Maximum Entertainment and Secret Base have launched a new free DLC for Dragon Gaiden: Rise of the Dragons, introducing two additional playable characters to the game's expanding roster. This DLC marks the first of several character updates planned for this year, which will ultimately add a total of six new fighters by year-end. Check out the new trailer below to see these characters in action.

The new fighters joining Billy and Jimmy Lee in their efforts to tackle the criminal gangs of New York City are Jeff and Abore. Each character brings their own unique skills to the gritty streets.

Jeff, a former rival of the Lee brothers from their childhood, trained with them in the martial art of Sōsetsuken. However, his envy of their abilities led him to stray into the streets, where he combined Karate with Sōsetsuken, developing a distinct and unpredictable fighting style.

Abore, a massive and powerful ex-soldier, possesses military training and a calm demeanor. His formidable strength, high resilience, and heavy blows have left many questioning whether he is more than just human.

This free DLC for Dragon Gaiden: Rise of the Dragons is now available on Xbox, PlayStation, Nintendo Switch, and PC.
