Image and Skybound have announced a new series centered around Universal Monsters: The Invisible Man.

Skybound Entertainment and Image Comics have revealed the upcoming addition to their Universal Monsters comic book series. Writer James Tynion IV (Something Is Killing the Children) and artist DANI (Coffin Bound) will collaborate on the four-issue limited series titled Universal Monsters: The Invisible Man.

“From my very first discussion with Skybound regarding the Universal Monsters line, there were two characters I was eager to work on. We began with Dracula, but deep down, my favorite Universal Monster film has always been The Invisible Man,” stated James Tynion IV. “It’s exciting to unwrap the layers and explore Griffin’s story from a fresh perspective, and I'm delighted to share this journey with DANI.”

“Creating The Invisible Man comic book series with such a talented team is a dream realized,” said DANI. “I am eager to reveal the unobservable to the audience!”

“James Tynion IV is among the finest horror writers the industry has ever known, and The Invisible Man is a character DANI was destined to illustrate,” remarked Alex Antone, Editorial Director at Skybound. “These two exceptional talents have crafted something remarkable with this book… and just like the Invisible Man, comic fans won’t see it coming!”
