
Nicolas Cage brings Spider-Man Noir to life with the first look teaser for Spider-Noir.
A distinctive interpretation of Spider-Man is on the way, with Nicolas Cage returning to his role for the Spider-Verse movies. Prime Video revealed the upcoming series on Monday during its upfronts presentation. The new image and teaser suggest a visually stunning and impactful series inspired by the Spider-Man Noir comic books. Scheduled for release in 2026, “Spider-Noir” follows an older, down-and-out private investigator (Cage) in 1930s New York, who confronts his past as the city's sole superhero.
The first teaser for the #SpiderNoir series has been shared.
Harry Bradbeer (Fleabag, Killing Eve) is set to direct and executive produce the initial two episodes. Oren Uziel and Steve Lightfoot will act as co-showrunners and executive producers. Uziel and Lightfoot collaborated with Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse creators Phil Lord, Christopher Miller, and Amy Pascal to develop the series.
In addition to Cage, the cast features Lamorne Morris, Brendan Gleeson, Abraham Popoola, Li Jun Li, Karen Rodriguez, and Jack Huston. Guest stars include Lukas Haas, Cameron Britton, Cary Christopher, Michael Kostroff, Scott MacArthur, Joe Massingill, Whitney Rice, Amanda Schull, Andrew Caldwell, Amy Aquino, Andrew Robinson, and Kai Caster.
Spider-Noir is set to premiere domestically on MGM+’s linear channel and will be available globally on Prime Video the following day.
