Jeremy Allen White (The Bear) and Austin Butler (Elvis) are set to appear in Henry Dunham’s crime thriller, Enemies. The film revolves around a tireless detective and a notorious contract killer who engage in a perilous game of cat and mouse.

A24 is behind the production of the film, which is based on a screenplay co-written by Dunham, with contributions from Ari Aster and Lars Knudsen of Square Peg, along with A24. Alejandro De Leon will also serve as a producer, with Josh Bachove taking on the role of executive producer.

Butler's upcoming projects include the western Eddington, penned and directed by Aster, and Caught Stealing, with rumors suggesting he may be in contention for a lead role in Michael Mann’s highly anticipated Heat 2. Meanwhile, White will reprise his role in The Bear, returning for its fourth season in June. He is also set to appear as The Boss in the Bruce Springsteen biopic Deliver Me From Nowhere, as well as voicing Rotta The Hutt in Star Wars: The Mandalorian and Grogu.

Filming for Enemies is slated to begin this summer in Chicago.
