Hopps and Wilde return to investigate in the trailer for Disney's Zootopia 2.
Walt Disney Animation Studios has finally unveiled Zootopia nearly ten years after the original film released in 2016 and earned over $1 billion at the box office. Directed by Academy Award winners Jared Bush and Byron Howard (Encanto), Zootopia 2 brings back animal detectives Judy Hopps (Ginnifer Goodwin) and Nick Wilde (Jason Bateman) as they take on a case involving a new reptilian arrival in Zootopia. The film also features the voices of Ke Huy Quan, Fortune Feimster, Quinta Brunson, and Shakira. You can view the poster and trailer below.
“In Walt Disney Animation Studios’ ‘Zootopia 2,’ detectives Judy Hopps (voiced by Ginnifer Goodwin) and Nick Wilde (voiced by Jason Bateman) are on the trail of a mysterious reptile who disrupts the mammal metropolis of Zootopia. To solve the case, Judy and Nick will need to go undercover in unexpected areas of the city, putting their evolving partnership to the ultimate test.”
Zootopia 2 will be released in theaters on November 26, 2025.
