Maggie Q portrays Ballard in the trailer for the Bosch spinoff.

      Prime Video has unveiled a teaser trailer for Ballard, a spinoff of the procedural drama series Bosch. The show centers on Detective Renee Ballard, portrayed by Maggie Q, as she navigates the LAPD’s underfunded cold-case unit.

      The cast of Ballard also features Courtney Taylor, John Carroll Lynch, Michael Mosley, Rebecca Field, Victoria Moroles, and Amy Hill. You can watch the trailer below…

      "Ballard follows Detective Renée Ballard (Maggie Q) as she leads the LAPD’s newly established cold-case unit, which is an all-volunteer group facing significant budget constraints and handling the city's largest collection of unsolved cases. Approaching these long-dormant cases with compassion and resolve, Ballard encounters a conspiracy during her investigations, leading her to seek help from her retired associate, Harry Bosch (Titus Welliver), to confront the risks that endanger both her team and her own safety."

      Ballard is set to premiere on Prime Video on July 9th, with all 10 episodes being released simultaneously.
