Frank Castle makes his comeback in Marvel's Punisher: Red Band.

Frank Castle is making his comeback to the Marvel Universe this September as the creative duo of writer Benjamin Percy and artist Julius Ohta reunite for "Punisher: Red Band," a limited series spanning five issues that promises to be "the most violent in Punisher history," as the recently resurrected vigilante reignites his ruthless campaign against the criminal underworld.

“Frank Castle—that dark-hearted, vengeance-driven figure, that beast who battles other beasts—is one of my all-time favorite characters, and I've been eager to write the Punisher for a long time,” Percy revealed. “Not only has Frank returned in black, but this is a Red Band book. You know what that entails. I’m going to fully embrace it and push the boundaries of my preferred genre: hairy psychopaths. Expect it to be as gritty and bloody as possible. Street-level chaos is on the horizon. And Julius Ohta—who I previously worked with on Hellverine—is infusing the pages with all the blood, fire, and fury through his stunning, terrifying artwork.”

Get ready, True Believers—Frank Castle is BACK. With no memories, a full magazine, and a desire for vengeful justice, his violent quest for answers is only suitable for a Red Band series! Bullets will fly, blood will spill, and both citizens and criminals in New York City will tremble at the mention of THE PUNISHER!
