Ezra Miller is set to collaborate again with director Lynne Ramsay for a vampire film.

Fresh from the premiere of her latest film, Die, My Love, featuring Jennifer Lawrence and Robert Pattinson, at the Cannes Film Festival, renowned director Lynne Ramsay spoke with the Los Angeles Times about her future projects. She indicated that a collaboration with Ezra Miller, her star from We Need to Talk About Kevin, is on the horizon.

When asked if she wishes she had made more films throughout her career (Die, My Love marks her fifth feature since her debut with Ratcatcher in 1999), Ramsay said, “I've written a lot. I have three scripts: one is fully ready, another is nearly complete, and the third is in development... I'm working on a vampire movie. I can't share much, but it features Ezra Miller, who was in Kevin. He is the lead character, and that's currently in development.”

We Need To Talk About Kevin, adapted from Lionel Shriver’s Orange Prize-winning novel, was released in 2011 and starred Tilda Swinton as a mother dealing with the repercussions of her psychopathic mass-murdering teenage son, Kevin, played by Miller in a breakout performance. Miller later portrayed Barry Allen/The Flash in the DC Extended Universe and Credence Barebone in the Fantastic Beasts series, although their career faced challenges due to various off-screen controversies and legal troubles, with their last appearance being in 2013’s The Flash solo film.

Ramsay's Die, My Love had its premiere at Cannes this month, where it was acquired by arthouse distributor Mubi in a deal valued at $24 million. The film features Lawrence as a mother experiencing postpartum depression, leading to psychosis, and is expected to be released later this year in anticipation of a possible awards campaign.
