Kit Connor from Warfare is in discussions for a role in Alex Garland's Elden Ring film.
Alex Garland may not be the only individual A24 plans to collaborate with for the upcoming Elden Ring film, as Kit Connor, who appeared in Garland and A24’s Warfare, is in negotiations to join the newly announced video game adaptation from the studio and Bandai Namco Entertainment.
The game, which draws inspiration from the mythology and story crafted by Game of Thrones creator George R.R. Martin, is an open-world action RPG set in the dark fantasy universe of the Lands Between, where players embark on a quest to restore the Elden Ring.
Although a formal agreement has yet to be reached, negotiations are in progress, and both Garland and Connor are eager to finalize the deal. The pair collaborated on Garland’s latest film, Warfare, and Connor is also recognized for his roles in the series Heartstopper and His Dark Materials, as well as providing the voice for Brightbill in Dreamworks’ summer success, The Wild Robot.
Elden Ring will be scripted by Garland and produced by Martin, Peter Rice, Vince Geradis, and Andrew Macdonald and Allon Reich from DNA.
