      Bulldog Film Distribution has released a trailer, poster, and images for Tony Burke’s darkly comedic horror-thriller, Protein. This film, inspired by Burke’s 2014 short film of the same name, features Craig Russell as a gym-obsessed serial killer who unintentionally ignites a violent turf war after killing and consuming a drug dealer for their protein.

      The cast includes Craig Russell, Kezia Burrows, Steven Meo, Charles Dale, Ross O’Hennessy, and Andrea Hall. You can watch the trailer below…

      A gym-obsessed serial killer slaughters and devours a local drug dealer for their protein, inadvertently triggering a ruthless and bloody turf war between competing drug gangs.

      Protein will hit select theaters on June 13th, with a digital release following on July 14th.
