      Three years after its debut on Amazon Prime, The Terminal List is returning with a prequel series titled The Terminal List: Dark Wolf, which centers on Taylor Kitsch’s character, Ben Edwards, and his path to joining the CIA’s Special Operations division. The streaming service has announced the summer premiere date for the prequel and shared the first set of photos along with the announcement.

      Co-created by Jack Carr, the author of The Terminal List, and series creator/showrunner David DiGilio, Dark Wolf traces Ben Edwards' (Kitsch) journey from the Navy SEALs to the covert world of CIA Special Operations, delving into the grimmer aspects of warfare and its human costs.

      Chris Pratt will reprise his role as James Reece, while the cast also includes Tom Hopper as Raife Haistings, Robert Wisdom as Jed Haverford, Luke Hemsworth as Jules Landry, Dar Salim as Mohammed Farooq, Rona-Lee Shimon as Eliza Perash, Shiraz Tzarfati as Tal Varon, Jared Shaw as Ernest ‘Boozer’ Vickers, and Michael Ealy as Ish.

      The prequel series is set to premiere on August 27th, featuring the first three episodes, followed by weekly releases for the remainder of the season. You can view the initial images here...

      The Terminal List: Dark Wolf is being executive produced by Kitsch and Pratt through Indivisible Productions, along with DiGilio, Carr, Antoine Fuqua, and Kat Samick from Hill District Media, former Army Ranger/writer Max Adams, former Navy SEAL/writer/technical advisor Jared Shaw, and Frederick E.O. Toye.

      Meanwhile, the main series, The Terminal List, is currently in production for its second season. The Terminal List: Dark Wolf is set to premiere on August 27th.
