Netflix releases a new trailer for the anime The Summer Hikaru Died.
Netflix has unveiled a new trailer, posters, and promotional images for the forthcoming adaptation of Mokumokuren’s popular manga, The Summer Hikaru Died.
Directed by Ryohei Takeshita, this supernatural anime series follows Yoshiki and Hikaru, two friends from a rural village in Japan who spend their time together until Hikaru goes missing in the mountains. He reappears a week later, behaving oddly, which leads Yoshiki to suspect that something has taken control of his friend's body. Watch the trailer below…
Yoshiki and Hikaru, two best friends from a rural Japanese village, grew up together and were inseparable… until the day Hikaru returned from the mountains, no longer acting like himself. "Something" has overtaken Hikaru’s body, memories, and emotions, causing their entire world to unravel.
The Summer Hikaru Died will be available on Netflix starting July 5th.
