
Daniel Dae Kim heads the Prime Video comic book adaptation Butterfly, offering a first glimpse of the spy thriller.
Prime Video has unveiled the first poster and images for Butterfly, an upcoming spy thriller adapted from Boom! Studios and Arash Amel’s graphic novel series.
The series features Daniel Dae Kim (Lost) leading a cast that includes Reina Hardesty, Piper Perabo, Louis Landau, Kim Ji-hoon, Park Hae-soo, Kim Tae-hee, Charles Parnell, Sean Dulake, Nayoon Kim, Sung Dong-il, and Lee Il-hwa.
Butterfly is a character-focused spy thriller that delves into intricate family dynamics set against the perilous backdrop of global espionage. It follows David Jung (Kim), a mysterious and highly unpredictable former US intelligence agent residing in South Korea, whose life unravels when the repercussions of a past decision return to haunt him. He finds himself on the run from Rebecca (Hardesty), a lethal, sociopathic young agent tasked with his elimination, as well as the nefarious spy organization Caddis that she represents.
Butterfly is set to premiere on August 13th.
