
The new DC Universe starts off with a retro-style Superman poster.
As the premiere of Superman approaches, Warner Bros. and DC Studios have unveiled a new poster for James Gunn’s Superman, which launches the DC Universe. The poster, featuring David Corenswet’s Man of Steel, adopts a retro design reminiscent of the classic movie posters from the Christopher Reeve Superman films; take a look below, alongside a new promotional piece.
“Superman narrates the tale of his quest to balance his Kryptonian legacy with his upbringing as Clark Kent in Smallville, Kansas. He exemplifies truth, justice, and the American way, promoting human compassion in a world where such kindness is often viewed as antiquated.”

Written and directed by James Gunn, Superman features David Corenswet as Ka’lel/Clark Kent, Rachel Brosnahan as Lois Lane, Skyler Gisondo as Jimmy Olsen, Nicholas Hoult as Lex Luthor, Isabela Merced as Hawkgirl, Edi Gathegi as Mister Terrific, Nathan Fillion as Green Lantern/Guy Gardner, Anthony Carrigan as Metamorpho, Sara Sampaio as Eve Teschmacher, María Gabriela De Faría as The Engineer, Sean Gunn as Maxwell Lord, Frank Grillo as Rick Flag Sr., Milly Alcock as Supergirl, Wendell Pierce as Perry White, Beck Bennett as Steve Lombard, Mikaela Hoover as Cat Grant, Christopher McDonald as Ron Troupe, Terence Rosemore as Otis, and Pruitt Taylor Vince and Neva Howell as Jonathan and Martha Kent.
Superman is scheduled to release on July 11, 2025.
