Seth Rogen extends an invitation to Vin Diesel to come to The Studio.
The Studio quickly became a favorite among Hollywood enthusiasts, as the comedy series successfully depicted the chaos of filmmaking. With its focus on behind-the-scenes experiences, viewers often see real actors portraying fictional versions of themselves. The first season featured a multitude of cameos, including appearances from Olivia Wilde, Dave Franco, Ice Cube, and many others. Seth Rogen, one of the show's co-creators and stars, has hinted at his top choice for cameos in the second season, and it's one of Hollywood's most notorious actors.
Could Vin Diesel make an appearance in The Studio? Rogen hopes for that possibility and expressed his desires during an interview with Jimmy Kimmel. While on Jimmy Kimmel Live!, Rogen shared his ambitions with the Fast & Furious star.
“There are a lot of actors I would love to work with, but there are a few specifically whose personas are amusing to explore. I think Vin Diesel would be both funny and enjoyable to collaborate with, mainly because he’s primarily known for his role in the Fast & Furious films,” he stated. “For many people in their 20s, he has only ever been Dominic Toretto. So, seeing him outside of that character would be really thrilling for me.”
Kimmel then jokingly remarked that Vin Diesel is an avid fan of the show and watches it frequently, prompting Rogen to address the camera: “I assume you’re tuning in as you do every night. I envision you watching while driving a ’65 Pontiac. If you would consider it, maybe we could arrange a Zoom meeting — and I’ll capture your baldness on a hard drive.”
The Apple TV+ series, The Studio, has already been confirmed for a second season.
