Confront the Kraken in the initial update of Game of Thrones: Kingsroad.

      Netmarble has officially released the first update for its story-driven action-adventure RPG, Game of Thrones: Kingsroad, titled ‘The Drowned God Wakes’. This update provides players with a range of new content for the mobile game, including:

      The Crow’s Nest and its surrounding regions, which players can now explore located south of the Stormlands. Stannis Baratheon, brother of Robert Baratheon and contender for the Iron Throne, is gearing up to sail North in response to the Night’s Watch’s summons. However, some mercenaries he employed to bolster his armies have betrayed him and seized control of Griffin’s Roost. Concerned about leaving his territories in such a precarious condition, Stannis seeks the player's assistance to breach the siege and uncover the mastermind behind these mercenary defections.

      This new area will feature new Quests, Sub-quests, Ruins, Bounties, and more. Additionally, a new fierce creature known as the ‘Shadowcat’ will challenge players as they navigate their journeys across Westeros.

      A new game mode called Raid introduces the ‘Kraken’, the first Raid boss located in the northern part of the Sunset Sea. As described in the A Song of Ice and Fire novels, this massive creature is capable of wrapping around even the strongest ships and dragging them into the ocean's dark depths—most who confront it don’t survive to recount their experience. This mode promotes teamwork, allowing players to combat the Kraken while aboard a ship. Only through collaboration and understanding its distinct mechanics can players hope to vanquish this legendary creature of the depths.

      Seasonal Updates have been added to the game, featuring Wormwalk, Beyond the Wall Expeditions, Bounties, Sub-quests, and Events. Expect new activities throughout Westeros as this update enriches players’ experiences on the Kingsroad.
